Alison White is an artist that creates original, contemporary paintings. Inspired by nature, colour and flow. Her painting style wavers between the world of intuitive abstract and colourful contemporary landscape.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Ballarat in 2003. And while her degree allowed her to build a Graphic Design career that has seen her travel to all corners of the world, it’s the return to the paintbrush that is now providing the utmost satisfaction of just being in the moment and simply creating.
The rich vibrancy and organic lines of her acrylic and mixed media works are brought to life on canvas with often unexpected elements including dried pieces of acrylic paint for texture, red wine, tea and she has also mixed her own pigments from ochre, plants and flowers that have been found in the bush.
She has collaborated with brands large and small and often gets involved in charity fundraisers where she can give back to those in need.
