This painting was inspired by my travels through Southern Western Australia. A particular stretch of bush that was regenerating after a fire. It was off a dirt road, in a National Park not far from Margaret River. The band of colour that swept the grove and licked every tree tunk in unison captivated me. The image has stayed in my mind and the moment now captured.
