This was a special commission for a lovely couple, who were given a White in Colour gift voucher as a wedding gift.
It was my pleasure to work with the couple to create a wonderfully unique painting for their home.
After initial discussion about the direction they would like the painting to go in and selecting a colour palette, they largely left the creative process up to me.
This piece was very much a intuitive painting and I let it evolve very organically....the end result being more figurative than I had first imagined. But I rolled with it and I believe it resulted in some very happy newly weds.
