DAYS AT THE BEACH_1
DAYS AT THE BEACH_1
Hot summer days, sand burning the bottoms of your feet as you hop from foot to foot and run down to the cool of the water. Wind blows and whips sand onto your face and the backs of your arms.
You stand blissfully happy as the hot sun envelopes itself around you like a cocoon and it slowly penetrates your body, you let the warmth sink into you, your body loosens, relaxes. After your swim you’re aware of the wet salt water tingling your skin, stinging the backs of your legs.
You walk back up the beach feeling all the muscles of your legs tighten as your feet grip into the deep layers of dry squeaky sand.
