This lady started as a sketch and was chosen to develop into a painting.

She depicts my walk through Maguk.
I wanted to show the hum and buzz of the forest, the clicking of the cicadas the palpable stickiness of the hot humid damp air. The sweet inviting pull of the forbidden turquoise waters, with her monsoonal forest and lush thick vegetation .
