Acrylic, ink, spray paint and gold foil on cotton stretched canvas.

This turned into a pretty special painting.... I was pondering over the name, throwing ideas around out loud and my wonderful 5 year old turned to the painting, studied it, looked at me very thoughtfully and said " what about Quiet Forest Mum" I almost melted on the spot as I gave him a cuddle, telling him I think that's a perfect name ♥

I asked him why he thought that was a good name and he said "Because it looks like a forest. And all the animals that live in there like it to be quiet" (insert swoon).

So I give you Quiet Forest...what was a troubling painting for me, process wise to paint, has now turned out to be a very special piece... ah the simple joys of children and the magic of art.
